Join a community of fellow grievers honoring their beloved pets through arts and crafts while giving back to Lopez Urban Farm pet pantry.
Dia de Muertos for Pets is a Mexican tradition observed on October 27th. We traditionally create an altar at our home which includes photos both deceased humans and pets along with papel picado, food, candles, water and bread to welcome our beloved home.
The Pet Griever’s Club will be meeting up at Lopez Urban Farm on November 1st to collage on 7.09” Marigold Cutouts, and creating a Community Wall of our beloved pets. They will stay up for the month of November, and can be picked up at the end of the month.
Art supplies will be provided. Please bring photos of your pet to add to your Marigold.
Funds for this event will go towards The Pet Pantry at Lopez Urban Farm.
Suggested donation $10. No one will be turned away for the lack of funds.
