Alkebulan African Diasporic Garden


The Alkebulan African Diasporic garden is a living archive of crops that are culturally important to the members of the diaspora. Were an inclusive space rooted in regenerative farming practices and radical self care through cultural workshops, Movie nights, food, and gardening. what we have currently growing in the garden are Buena Mulata Pepper, Bebere peppers, Passion fruit, Moringa, Jamaican Pumpkin, Cushaw squash, Jamaican Cherries, cow peas (black eyed peas), cuban long beans, Okra, sweet potato, Hibiscus, ground cherries, Callaloo (Amaranth), Lagos spinach Jamaican Burr Gherkin, Sudanese Sorghum, Teff, Ethiopian Basil and Scent leaf Basil. Our Volunteer days are Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
