Facility Usage Agreement
Lopez Urban Farm operates as a shared, community-based space rooted in public access, education, and mutual aid. The site is located on property owned by Pomona Unified School District (PUSD). All activities must comply with school district standards and community expectations.
Access to the farm is granted through active partnership and alignment with farm values. This is not a rental or private use agreement.
The Director of Operations serves as the central point of approval for all event requests.
Events are not confirmed until approved by the Director of Operations.

PURPOSE
This agreement grants Performer/Band permission to use designated areas of Lopez Urban Farm for the purpose of live musical performance during the above-listed event.
HOST PROVIDES
Lopez Urban Farm may provide access to the following, depending on event arrangements:
Performance space / designated stage area
Access to electricity and standard outlets
One microphone stand
One microphone
Simple PA = One speaker with 2 XLR inputs
Extension cords
Basic seating for up to 50 guests
Event lighting
Water station for guests
Limited access to tables upon request and based on availability
If the event is expected to host more than 100 guests, Performer/Band or event organizer may be required to coordinate and cover the cost of an additional restroom rental.
Event Requirements
All events must be submitted with a minimum of 4 weeks advance notice
Events are not confirmed until approved by the Director of Operations
Must remain open and accessible to the public
All events are FREE to the public, unless otherwise approved by the Director of Operations
Must align with farm values and community-centered practices
Event coordinator is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization, leaving spaces on the farm in equal or better condition
PERFORMER/BAND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performer/Band agrees to:
Arrive on time and be prepared for setup, soundcheck, and performance within assigned time slots
Bring all necessary instruments, cables, adapters, and any additional specialty equipment
Keep performance and backstage areas clean and free of hazards
Respect the farm grounds, structures, gardens, and animals
Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward staff, volunteers, vendors, and guests
Complete setup and breakdown within the agreed schedule
Follow all event parking, loading, and unloading instructions
Keep sound levels within reasonable limits as requested by Host
End all amplified sound and music by 10:00 PM
Ensure all guests, crew, and performers have exited the property by 11:00 PM
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
NO SMOKING, VAPING, OR DRUG USE ON SITE
NO ALCOHOL SALES OR DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL/LICENSING
NO FEEDING GOATS OR CHICKENS. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE ANIMALS
NO FIREWORKS, PYROTECHNICS, OR OPEN FLAMES
NO EXCESSIVE VOLUME BEYOND AGREED LIMITS
NO DAMAGE, DEFACEMENT, OR ALTERATION TO FARM PROPERTY
Performer/Band assumes responsibility for any damage caused by their members, guests, or equipment to Lopez Urban Farm property.
Community Partners 4 Innovation DBA Lopez Urban Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, instruments, or equipment.
LIABILITY
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING
If Performer/Band is unable to perform, they agree to notify Lopez Urban Farm as soon as possible.
Lopez Urban Farm reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule performances due to weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
MEDIA RELEASE
Performer/Band understands that photos and videos may be taken during the event and may be used by Lopez Urban Farm for promotional, social media, and archival purposes.
