Letter From Community Partners 4 Innovation Leadership

Dear Friends and Partners,

This year our work has continued to grow through faith, justice, and relationship. Community Partners 4 Innovation remains grounded in our five pillars: alternative economy, food access, education, radical partnership, and free space access. Each pillar reflects our belief that true community power comes from shared care, cultural connection, and collective responsibility.

We are deeply dedicated to uplifting the legacy of Ignacio Lopez, founder of El Espectador and civil rights leader from Pomona, California. His vision for equality and access continues to guide our work at Lopez Urban Farm, where we nurture spaces for learning, nourishment, and transformation.

Thank you to every partner, volunteer, and neighbor who joins us in this movement. Together we are building a model of community wellness rooted in justice, sustained by faith, and strengthened through relationship.

Our Mission

Lopez Urban Farm is a community wellness project rooted in Pomona and powered by partnership with PUSD. We cultivate green space as a sanctuary for learning, healing, and connection. Through accessible food systems, hands-on education, and radical community partnerships, we grow resilience and nourish belonging. Guided by an alternative economy based on mutual aid and shared abundance, we strive to create a thriving future where everyone has access to land, knowledge, and wellness.
